Kudremukh Peak lies in the Kudremukh National Park bordering the districts of Chikmanglur and Dakshin Canara. At 1894 meters above sea level it is the second highest peak in Karnataka. Since it lies inside the national park it is home to several species of flora and fauna including spotted deer, sambar deer, bison, civet cat, indian gaint squirrel, wild foul and peacocks amongst other wildlife. One can see a variation in topography in this trek as one passes through secluded hill villages, shola forests and open grasslands, waterfalls, beautiful trekking trails, streams, rivers and jungles makes it an ideal location for the nature and adventure lover. 

LOCATION : Kudremukh located in Chikmagalur district along the border with Udupi and South Canara districts is one of the most undiscovered of hill stations in Karnataka. It is the second highest peak in Karnataka at a height of 1894 meters above sea level. An offbeat location with few travelers, the regions holds some of the highest peaks in Karnataka Western Ghats.

TREK SYNOPSIS : An adventure and wildlife program with trekking to Kudremukh peak, camping out in a village home stay / tent camping close to stream and forests, sampling some of the hill country delicacies, visiting two unexplored waterfalls and taking bath under the waterfalls and swimming in secluded pools made in the stream. There will be no shortage of experience or excitement in this trip. This is one of the most scenic and adventurous trekking trails in Karnataka with possibility wildlife sighting opportunities
