About Us
Trichy Trekkers is a non-profit Trust founded primarily to celebrate the spirit of adventure. Dozens of Treks and other events have been organized over the past couple of years to nurture the same passion and love about this adventure sport in the hearts of people who just do not know where to start... Many of us know only the names of places, or heard the stories about these places from others or read about it somewhere. We want those enthusiasts to come, trek, bike or cycle to visit these places, explore and preserve it for the generations to come!!!
Trichy Trekkers caters to outdoor adventure sports like trekking, hiking, camping outdoors, bird watching and adventure events like Biking, Cycle Expeditions, Archaeology and Historical Exploration, rock climbing, white water rafting, Nature Study, Awareness, Care and Conservation. We also run an Education Project for the poor and underprivileged children of Marudandarkurichi and Ramanathanallur with the funds arising out of such activities.
The Club Membership is free and open to everyone above 18 years. Young members above 13 years may participate with parental consent. Children above 6 and upto 12 years may participate along with parents
